How it is achieved: BRHD is a federally funded regional innovation cluster through the U.S. Economic Development Administration. The Baton Rouge Health-Tech Catalyst initiative provides research pilot funding, resources for collaborative innovation challenge projects, and economic development marketing support in our region and seeks to deliver better healthcare through increased collaboration and expanding resources.

Goal: be a model for resource coordination to facilitate patient-centric, value-driven care.

How it is achieved: BRHD convenes hospitals, providers and experts around key community issues such as opioid stewardship, safety, and data sharing to promote an integrated approach to solutions. During times of crisis, this collective approach focuses on disaster response to meet the needs of the community and healthcare providers.
